Are you not yet familiar with Stacker4? It's a dietary supplement in capsules from the Stacker2 brand, a name known for years in the stimulant supplement category. Each capsule contains caffeine and a fixed blend of plant extracts. Stacker4 is the ephedrine-free successor to the original Stacker formulas and is sold in a 100-capsule container.
The composition is based on two elements. The first is anhydrous caffeine, a concentrated form of powdered caffeine. The second is a blend of plants: green tea extract, yerba mate, guarana, capsicum, kola nut, and Siberian ginseng. Caffeine is present both in pure form and via these plant sources. The capsule is made of gelatin. The manufacturer does not disclose the exact dosage per extract, as they are part of a fixed blend of 250 milligrams. The caffeine content is listed separately, as required by regulations.
How much caffeine per capsule? The answer: 300 milligrams, a high amount comparable to about three cups of coffee in a single capsule. That's why it's important to respect the indicated dose and not take multiple capsules at once. For comparison, a cup of filter coffee contains about 90 milligrams of caffeine. Three capsules a day, the maximum indicated, therefore represent 900 milligrams: also count your caffeine from other sources.
Green tea and yerba mate are leaves that have been steeped for a long time. Guarana is a seed from the Amazon naturally rich in caffeine. Capsicum is the substance in chili peppers responsible for their spiciness. Kola nut comes from the kola tree, and Siberian ginseng is a root, not to be confused with Panax ginseng. These plants, long used in stimulant supplements, are combined into a fixed blend so that each capsule has the same proportion.
Original Stacker products once contained ephedrine, a substance no longer permitted in supplements in Europe. Stacker4 is therefore completely ephedrine-free, with caffeine and plant extracts as its basis. The product is marketed in Europe by Stacker2 Europe. The capsule form makes dosing easy, without weighing or mixing anything.
