SiS REGO Rapid Recovery Vanilla

A recovery drink made from soy protein isolate, providing 20 grams of protein, 22 grams of carbohydrates, electrolytes, and a complete complex of vitamins and minerals per 50-gram serving. SiS REGO Rapid Recovery Vanilla is 100% plant-based, lactose-free, and suitable for vegans. It has a subtle vanilla flavor. Mix with 500 ml of cold water within 30 minutes of training. Informed Sport certified. Contains soy.

Soy Protein Isolate as a Complete Plant-Based Source

Most recovery shakes are based on animal-derived whey protein. REGO Rapid Recovery uses soy protein isolate. Soy is one of the few plant-based protein sources that provides all nine essential amino acids in sufficient quantities. The protein is supplemented with 2.5 grams of L-leucine per serving. Leucine is the amino acid that triggers the signal for muscle protein synthesis after exercise. The combination of soy isolate and additional leucine offers a complete amino acid profile suitable for recovery after both endurance and strength training.

Electrolytes, Vitamins, and Minerals in One Product

After intense exercise, you lose not only water but also sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium through sweat. REGO Rapid Recovery contains all these electrolytes in its formula, so you don't have to supplement them separately. It also includes a complete complex of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C for the immune system, vitamin B6 to combat fatigue, and vitamin D3 for muscle function. One serving mixed with water provides protein, carbohydrates, electrolytes, and micronutrients.

Within 30 minutes after training, always with water

Carbohydrate and protein absorption is fastest immediately after exercise. SiS recommends taking REGO Rapid Recovery within 30 minutes of training and always mixing it with water, not milk. Milk contains fats and casein, which slow down gastric emptying and therefore also the absorption of recovery nutrients. Cold water (500 ml for 50 grams of powder) provides the best dissolution and taste.

REGO Rapid Recovery is the recovery product for athletes who eat plant-based or cannot tolerate dairy products and still want a complete recovery product with protein, carbohydrates, electrolytes, and vitamins in one drink.

Why the SiS REGO Rapid Recovery Vanilla?

20 grams of soy protein isolate per serving, 100% plant-based

REGO Rapid Recovery uses soy protein isolate as its protein source. Soy has a complete amino acid profile and is one of the few plant-based protein sources that provides all nine essential amino acids. This makes it suitable for athletes who do not consume dairy products or are lactose intolerant. The 20 grams per serving are supplemented with an additional 2.5 grams of L-leucine.

Electrolytes and vitamins included, no separate supplements needed

As well as protein and carbohydrates, REGO Rapid Recovery contains sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium as electrolytes, complemented by a full vitamin and mineral complex including vitamins C, B6, B12 and D3. During intense training, you lose not only glycogen and muscle protein, but also minerals through sweat. This product replenishes everything at once in a single drink.

22 grams of carbohydrates for glycogen replenishment, to be mixed with water (not milk)

Carbohydrates come from maltodextrin and fructose, fast-absorbing sources that replenish glycogen stores in muscles. Important: always mix REGO Rapid Recovery with water, not milk. Milk slows gastric emptying and therefore the absorption of both protein and carbohydrates. The recommended time is within 30 minutes of training.

Informed Sport Certified, suitable for vegans

Every batch is tested by Informed Sport for WADA-listed banned substances. Gluten, lactose, wheat, and nut-free. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Please note: contains Vitamin D3, which is animal-derived. For strict vegans, this may be a point to consider.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between REGO Rapid Recovery and REGO Clear?

REGO Clear uses whey protein isolate and mixes clear like a fruit juice drink. REGO Rapid Recovery uses soy protein isolate, is plant-based and has a creamy texture. In addition, REGO Rapid Recovery contains electrolytes and a full vitamin and mineral complex, which REGO Clear does not. If you are lactose intolerant or eat plant-based, REGO Rapid Recovery is the better choice. If you like a clear drink and have no issues with dairy, REGO Clear is the fresher option.

Why Soy Protein and Not Whey?

Soy protein isolate is one of the few plant-based protein sources with a complete amino acid profile. For athletes who do not consume dairy products or are lactose intolerant, it offers a full-fledged replacement for whey. The bioavailability of soy protein isolate is comparable to that of whey. The main difference lies in the absorption rate: whey is absorbed a little faster, soy a little slower but still quickly enough for the recovery window right after training.

How many doses does one tub contain?

The 500-gram tub contains 10 doses of 50 grams. The 1500-gram tub contains 30 doses. For daily use after training, the small tub lasts two weeks, the large one month. In terms of price per dose, the large tub is more advantageous.

Can I mix REGO Rapid Recovery with milk?

SiS expressly advises mixing it with water, not milk. Milk slows down gastric emptying because it contains fats and casein. This, in turn, slows down the absorption of carbohydrates and proteins. It is precisely in the first 30 minutes after training that you want nutrients to be rapidly available. With 500ml of cold water, shaken well, absorption is optimal.

Is REGO Rapid Recovery also suitable if I only do strength training?

Yes. The combination of protein for muscle recovery and carbohydrates for glycogen replenishment is relevant after both endurance and strength training. After strength training, glycogen stores are less depleted than after a long endurance effort, but the 22 grams of carbohydrates simply count towards your daily intake. The 20 grams of protein and L-leucine are also useful in strength training for muscle protein synthesis.

Does this product contain caffeine or creatine?

No, REGO Rapid Recovery does not contain caffeine, creatine, or any other stimulating substance. It is purely a combination of carbohydrates, protein, electrolytes, and vitamins. You can use it daily in addition to other supplements without worrying about an accumulation of active substances.
