SiS GO Electrolyte Orange

A sports drink powder providing 36 grams of carbohydrates and electrolytes per 40-gram serving in 500 ml of water. SiS GO Electrolyte Orange has a refreshing orange flavour, slightly stronger than Lemon but milder than Blackcurrant. Widely appreciated for daily use by cyclists, triathletes, and runners. Caffeine-free. Suitable for vegans. Informed Sport certified. Contains aspartame.

Dehydration starts before you feel it

Thirst is a delayed signal. By the time you feel thirsty, you have already lost 1-2% of fluid, which already has a measurable impact on muscle performance and concentration. A structured drinking strategy, 500 ml every 45 to 60 minutes, works better than drinking by feel. GO Electrolyte helps simply apply this strategy: one bottle per hour, a consistent sodium intake, a consistent carbohydrate intake.

Orange as standard flavour, Blackcurrant for variety

Many athletes use Orange as their standard flavour and save Blackcurrant for the second half of long rides or races. Flavour fatigue occurs during prolonged exertion, and a mid-course flavour variation feels like a mental reset. Orange is the best basic option because its flavour is widely accessible and does not tire quickly.

Combine with gels for higher carbohydrate intake

One bottle of GO Electrolyte provides 36 grams of carbohydrates per hour. Add one GO Isotonic gel (22 grams) and you reach 58 grams per hour; two gels provide 80 grams. The bottle manages water, electrolytes, and a stable base intake. Gels supplement according to intensity. This distribution makes it easy to adjust hour by hour without changing drinks.

Why SiS GO Electrolyte Orange?

Fresh and widely available, the most popular choice with Lemon

Orange has more character than Lemon without the strong taste of Blackcurrant. The refreshing citrus note is well tolerated after hours of cycling and encourages regular drinking. With Lemon, it is the most popular flavour for daily training use.

460 mg of sodium for water retention and thirst stimulation

Sodium does two things in a sports drink: it accelerates fluid absorption through the intestinal wall and stimulates thirst, which encourages you to keep drinking. This second effect is less well known but just as important in hot weather or during intensive sessions where you might forget to drink. GO Electrolyte provides 460 mg of sodium per serving in 500 ml of water.

Combine with Gels if you need more than 36 grams per hour

For efforts up to one hour, one bottle of GO Electrolyte per hour is sufficient. If your session is longer or if you are training at high intensity and need 60-90 grams of carbohydrates per hour, add a gel. One GO Isotonic gel (22 grams) brings you to 58 grams per hour. Two gels to 80 grams. The bottle remains unchanged; you only adjust the number of gels.

Caffeine-free, 40 servings per large tub

The 1600 gram tub provides 40 servings of 40 grams. At one serving per hour of training, the large tub covers 40 training sessions. Caffeine-free, freely combinable with gels or tablets containing caffeine. Each batch is tested by Informed Sport.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is orange the most popular flavor?

Orange and Lemon are the two top-selling flavors. Orange has a slightly stronger taste presence. Blackcurrant has a loyal but smaller user base. If you're unsure which one to try, Orange is a safe first choice.

What water temperature should I use?

Cold water gives the best flavor and dissolves the fastest. Hot water also works but slightly alters the flavor distribution. Do not pour the powder directly into the pot and do not pour water into the pot; always prepare in a separate container. Consume the prepared drink within 24 hours.

Can I use it in a hydration bladder or system?

Yes. Prepare the serving in a separate bottle, shake well until fully dissolved, then pour into the hydration bladder. Adding the powder directly to the reservoir sometimes causes clumps. The drink will turn a slight orange color and may slightly stain the tube, but this will cause no damage.

How many carbohydrates per hour if I am also using gels?

One serving of GO Electrolyte provides 36 grams. One GO Isotonic Gel provides 22 grams. So one serving plus one gel gives you 58 grams per hour. Add two more gels and that takes you to 80 grams, which is in the recommended zone of 60-90 grams for most endurance athletes. Add three more gels and that's 102 grams, more than most people need.

What to do if the powder clumps?

Clumps form due to moisture in the jar. Always keep the jar tightly closed in a dry place. If the powder still clumps, dissolve them by shaking in water: they will completely disappear. The quality is not affected.

Is this product suitable for children or teenagers?

GO Electrolyte is a sports nutrition product designed for active athletes. There is no specific age restriction, but the amount of sodium and carbohydrates is calibrated for adult athletes. For children with lower body weight, it is prudent to adjust the dosage according to their weight. Be aware of the aspartame content for children with phenylketonuria.
