It's peanut butter made from roasted peanuts from which most of the oil has been pressed. What remains is finely ground into a powder. It retains the peanut taste and protein, with much less fat.

Do you love the taste of peanuts but want less fat and fewer calories? Then PB2's powdered peanut butter is a practical choice. It's made from roasted peanuts pressed to remove most of the oil. What remains is a fine powder, rich in protein, with that familiar peanut taste. It's up to you: spread it, mix it, or cook with it.
Classic peanut butter is about half fat, due to the natural oil in peanuts. At PB2, most of this oil is pressed out before the peanuts are ground into powder. The result: up to 90% less fat than traditional peanut butter and nearly 70% fewer calories. Per 13-gram serving, you only get 1.5 grams of fat and 60 calories. The taste remains distinctly peanutty; only the fatty layer disappears.
Peanuts are naturally rich in protein, and since only the oil is removed, these proteins are preserved. Per 13-gram serving, you get 6 grams of plant-based protein, which is about 46 grams per 100 grams. This powder is therefore a source of protein. Proteins contribute to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass, as well as the maintenance of normal bones. One serving also provides 1 gram of fiber.
The powdered form makes this product versatile. Want a spread? Mix two tablespoons with a little water, and in half a minute you'll have something similar to classic peanut butter. Many prefer to incorporate it dry into their oatmeal, skyr, or yogurt, or blend it into a smoothie or protein shake. In baking, it gives pancakes, muffins, and cakes a mild peanut flavor without adding much fat. Tip: add water gradually to maintain the desired texture.
This powder is popular with athletes and people who are calorie-conscious. The difference lies in the ratio: lots of peanut flavor and protein, low fat. During a cutting phase, one sometimes wants to limit fats: powdered peanut butter is then a convenient way to enjoy the taste. The product contains only three ingredients, is entirely plant-based, and naturally gluten-free. A 454-gram jar will last you a long time, and the powdered form stores well when dry.
The oil is pressed from roasted peanuts before they are ground into powder. This leaves only 1.5 grams of fat per 13-gram serving.
Since only the oil is removed, the protein content of the peanut is preserved. Per 100 grams, this amounts to approximately 46 grams of protein.
PB2 Original consists of roasted peanuts, a touch of sugar, and a dash of salt. No artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives.
The powder is entirely plant-based and gluten-free. It can therefore be integrated into a vegan and gluten-free diet.

Mix 2 tablespoons of powder with 1 to 2 tablespoons of water and stir until smooth. Add a little more or less water depending on the desired consistency.
One 13-gram serving (2 tablespoons) contains 60 calories, which is almost 70% less than the same amount of traditional peanut butter. Per 100 grams, this equates to 461 calories.
The peanut flavor is very recognizable. The texture differs: since the oil has been removed, the paste obtained after adding water is slightly less creamy. In oatmeal or a smoothie, the difference is barely noticeable.
Per 13-gram serving, you get 6 grams of plant-based protein, which is about 46 grams per 100 grams. It's therefore a source of protein, often used as a flavor enhancer in shakes and oatmeal.
The biggest difference is fats. Classic peanut butter contains about 16g of fat per two tablespoons, PB2 about 1.5g. In return, classic butter also provides unsaturated fats. PB2 is mainly chosen to limit calories or fats while keeping the taste and protein.
