LUTO Oregano Oil 150 mg 80% Carvacrol 120 Softgels
150 mg of oregano oil per capsule, standardized to 80% carvacrol (120 mg per capsule). Combined with 150 mg of extra virgin olive oil as a carrier oil. No magnesium stearate, fillers, flavorings, or GMOs. 120 bovine gelatin softgels, enough for 120 days of daily use.
What is oregano oil and what does it contain?
Oregano oil is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of Origanum vulgare, the wild oregano plant. The active substance that gives the oil its potency is carvacrol, an aromatic compound naturally present in the plant. The carvacrol concentration varies greatly from product to product: cheap variants sometimes contain only 50-60%. This product is standardized to 80% carvacrol, which means that each capsule is guaranteed to contain 120 mg of carvacrol, regardless of the batch. The olive oil in the capsule serves as a carrier oil for the fat-soluble carvacrol and makes the capsule gentler on the stomach lining.
Composition and what you won't find in it
The capsule contains only oregano oil from Origanum vulgare (standardized to 80% carvacrol) and extra virgin olive oil. The capsule material is made of bovine gelatin and glycerin as a humectant. No fillers, magnesium stearate, artificial flavors, colorings, or preservatives have been added. Each batch is tested for purity and stability. Gluten-free, lactose-free, and GMO-free. Manufactured without allergens.
How and when to take
Take 1 softgel daily with plenty of water, preferably during a meal. Do not chew: the softgel is intended to be swallowed whole. The meal facilitates the absorption of fat-soluble carvacrol and reduces the risk of stomach upset in sensitive individuals. If in doubt about its use, a doctor or pharmacist can provide personalized advice.
