AyurSlim is an Ayurvedic herbal supplement from Himalaya Wellness in capsule form. The formula combines five plant ingredients: Garcinia cambogia, guggul (Balsamodendron mukul), Gymnema sylvestre, Terminalia chebula, and fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum). Each box contains 60 capsules. The recommended daily dose is 4 capsules, divided into two moments of the day. The capsule is small and easy to swallow with a glass of water. The capsules are vegetarian and therefore suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

The most important component of the formula is Garcinia cambogia extract, at 1200 mg per daily dose. Garcinia cambogia is a tropical fruit from South Asia, also known as Malabar tamarind. AyurSlim also contains 280 mg of guggul powder (Balsamodendron mukul, also spelled Commiphora wightii), a resinous plant used for centuries in Ayurveda. The formula is complemented by 40 mg of Gymnema sylvestre extract, known in India as gurmar, 40 mg of Terminalia chebula extract (haritaki), and 40 mg of fenugreek extract (Trigonella foenum-graecum). Fenugreek is a legume whose seeds are known in Indian cuisine, and the leaf of Gymnema sylvestre is traditionally used. Terminalia chebula, called haritaki in Ayurveda, is one of the three fruits of the famous Triphala blend. Microcrystalline cellulose and a hydroxypropyl methylcellulose capsule are used as excipients.
