High5 Energy Gel Caffeine Orange with caffeine

A compact 40g energy gel with 23g of carbohydrates and 30mg of caffeine, in a fruity orange flavour. For training and competitions where you want a boost in addition to fuel, without extra weight in your back pocket. For runners, cyclists, and triathletes.

23g of carbohydrates in a 40g sachet

Energy comes from glucose syrup and maltodextrin, rapidly absorbed carbohydrates that are immediately available during exertion. The gel is deliberately more fluid than many competing gels, making it easier to swallow with a sip of water. The taste comes from real fruit juice rather than artificial flavours. With vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy metabolism and reduces fatigue.

30mg of caffeine, plan your moment

One gel contains about a third of the caffeine in a cup of coffee. This way you build up your total yourself: one gel per hour for a steady supply, or several towards the end. Keep your total caffeine intake from all sources under 400mg per day, and choose the Energy Gel without caffeine for evening sessions. Test your strategy in training, not in competition.

Orange and the rest of the Caffeine range

Orange is fruity and recognizable, a flavour that remains pleasant in the heat of competition. The Caffeine range also comes in Raspberry, and the aqueous Aqua Caffeine is the alternative for taking gels without water. Every HIGH5 gel is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, without artificial sweeteners or colours.

HIGH5 has been manufacturing sports nutrition for endurance athletes since 1994; compact, targeted, and a long-standing presence in the peloton.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine per gel?

30 mg per 40g sachet, about one-third of a cup of coffee. This way, you can tailor your total intake based on the number of gels consumed.

How many gels per hour and per day?

One to three per hour for carbohydrates, with a maximum of three caffeinated gels per day. Keep your total caffeine intake, from all sources, under 400 mg per day, including coffee.

When should you use this gel?

During difficult moments: the second half of a competition, a long climb, or the end of a long race. One per hour for a steady supply; a few towards the end for a targeted boost. Avoid in the evening.

Do I need to drink water with the gel?

A sip of water makes it easier to swallow, even though this gel is deliberately more fluid than many others. If you don't want any water at all, choose the aqueous Aqua Caffeine with the same 30mg of caffeine.

What's the difference between this and the Caffeine-Free Energy Gel?

Only the caffeine: both provide 23g of carbohydrates per 40g sachet from glucose syrup and maltodextrin. Use the caffeine-free version for calm workouts and in the evening, and this one for competitions and difficult sessions.

Is this gel vegan?

Yes, it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The base is glucose syrup and maltodextrin with real fruit juice concentrate, caffeine and vitamin B6. No artificial sweeteners or colorings.
