High5 Energy Gel Aqua Caffeine Berry with caffeine

A liquid energy gel with 23g of carbohydrates and 30mg of caffeine per 66g sachet. The lightly berry-flavored version can be consumed without water, perfect when you need energy and a boost. For runners, cyclists, and triathletes.

Liquid instead of thick and sticky

The Aqua range delivers the same 23g of carbohydrates as the classic Energy Gel in 66g instead of 40g. This extra water makes the texture more like a sports drink: you can consume it without water, even during competition. The energy comes from glucose syrup and maltodextrin, and the taste from real fruit juice. With vitamin B6, which contributes to normal energy metabolism and reducing fatigue.

30mg of caffeine, small but targeted

One gel contains about a third of the caffeine in a cup of coffee. This is intentional: you can control your total intake based on the number of gels, for example, a few during the latter part of a long ride. Keep your total intake from all sources under 400mg per day and avoid caffeine for evening workouts; the caffeine-free Aqua is the logical choice then.

Berry and the rest of the Aqua range

Berry is mild and fruity, a flavor that remains pleasant after hours. Aqua Caffeine is also available in Citrus, and for those who don't want caffeine, there's the classic Aqua. Each gel is suitable for vegetarians and vegans, with no artificial sweeteners or colors.

HIGH5 has been making sports nutrition for endurance athletes since 1994. This is the gel for those who want energy and caffeine without the hassle of bottles or thick gels.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much caffeine per gel?

30 mg per sachet, about one third of a cup of coffee. This intentionally low dose allows you to build your total intake according to the number of gels taken.

Should I drink water with this gel?

No, it's not necessary. The aqueous texture means it goes down like a gulp of sports drink. Otherwise, drink as much as you need during exercise.

How many of these gels can I take?

A maximum of three sachets per day according to HIGH5. Also, keep your total caffeine intake from all sources, including coffee, under 400 mg per day.

When to take a gel with caffeine?

Most endurance athletes reserve caffeine for the second half of a long training session or competition, when things get tough. Avoid in the evening; caffeine can disrupt sleep.

What's the difference between this and the classic Energy Gel Aqua?

Only the caffeine: the same 23g of carbohydrates and the same aqueous texture, plus 30mg of caffeine per sachet. For calm days and evening sessions, the caffeine-free Aqua makes more sense.

Is this gel vegan?

Yes, it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The base is water with glucose syrup and maltodextrin, real fruit juice, caffeine, and vitamin B6. No artificial sweeteners or colorings.
